> Trusts
A trust may be used for a multitude of reasons but trusts are most commonly established for tax planning reasons or to make provision for beneficiaries when you do not wish to put money and property into their hands. This may be because the beneficiaries are too young, financially irresponsible or perhaps vulnerable.
A trust offers protection and a carefully drafted trust gives flexibility allowing the trustees to meet the changing needs of the trust's beneficiaries.
A trust can be set up by Will or during your lifetime.
We have extensive experience of advising on the creation and management of trusts. We also act as trustees in certain instances and can advise you on the comparison of the different types of trusts and their respective tax implications.
